There are approximately 20 million Veterans in the United States, and just under 25% or 4.7MM Veterans have a Service Connected Disability. At last count, there are roughly 26,300 Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms registered to do business with the federal government. Therefore, approximately 1 in 200 Service-Disabled Veterans take advantage of this certification to grow a business.
