To obtain the HUBZone Certification for your business, a firm is required to be located within a HUBZone, and have at least 35% of the firm’s employees reside within a HUBZone.
In many instances, the SBA will qualify an entire county as HUBZone certified. In these cases, it is much easier for these firms to become and stay HUBZone Certified.

As you can see, there are many, many areas that are a part of HUBZone. As previously mentioned, and shown above in the county specific picture, there are a lot of counties that are entirely designated as HUBZone. Not pictured there are the HUBZone counties located in Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, most of which have a super majority of qualifying counties.
