Looking at the numbers, there are many SBA Certification Holders that gain additional access to the federal marketplace by utilizing GSA Schedules. SBA Certification Holders as a percentage are more likely to obtain a GSA Schedule than other small businesses working with the federal government.

From looking at the data the certification holder that benefits the most from a GSA Schedule would be WOSB and SDVOSB firms. There are 88,000 WOSB firms and 24,000 SDVOSB firms so obtaining the additional exposure that a GSA Schedule brings helps them to differentiate from the competition.
