I am fully committed to my business, however I have worked another job to supplement the income. Do I need to quit my job before applying for the 8A or state that I will quit if the 8A is approved?

In order for the SBA to certify a company 8a, the managing partner must show full time devotion for a minimum of 4 months leading up to the date of application, and it is recommended that the number be at least 6 months. Full time Devotion in the eyes of the SBA is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. You can still continue to work another job, as long as it does not interfere with this schedule.
